Next week, March 24 through March 28, Jennings County Schools will be on Spring Break. We hope our students and their families have a fun, safe, and relaxing spring break! We will see you back on Monday, March 31.
All eighth through twelfth-grade students are invited to attend our College and Career Fair to learn about opportunities available to them at JCHS and as they prepare for life after JCHS! Join us on Thursday, April 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym, 800 West Walnut Street, North Vernon, IN 47265.
Jennings County Middle School is honored to announce our Teacher of the Year and Classified Staff Member of the Year! We are thrilled to recognize Mrs. Anita Boggs as the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year and Mrs. Kerry Ross-Malcomb as the 2024–2025 Classified Staff Member of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Boggs and Mrs. Ross-Malcomb, and thank you for all that you do to make JCMS a better place for students, staff, and the entire school community.
Jennings County Schools received a waiver from the Indiana Department of Education for the snow day on Thursday, February 20, 2025. This means that a day is not added to the current school year's calendar. The last day of classes for students is Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Just a reminder to participate in athletics, student athletes must have a sports physical on file at JCMS and must be registered on Final Forms.
Schneck Urgent Care at 1124 Medical Pl. Seymour, IN 47274 is open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday-Friday and 8 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. This location offers sports physicals for $25 cash/debit/credit (meaning they do not run insurance)
If your athlete attended tonight’s after school workout and did not have a physical on file, they received a form that can be filled out and taken to their physical. Having this filled out ahead of time will make your trip much quicker. If they do not have a form, they can get one from the JCMS athletic office!
